Diamond Drilling In Concrete
 Core Drilling & Stitch Drilling
Diamond core drilling:-

Access's Diamond Core Drilling service is favoured by many of our clients to create holes in existing brickwork and reinforced concrete floor slabs. It is also particularly effective for walls where access is required for services, installation of bump posts & handrails or simply a change in M & E design.

This method is favoured by many contractors due to its reduced vibration and noise levels meaning work can be carried out with very little inconvenience to other working environments (Offices, Hospitals, Airports or Domestic Properties). The work can be carried out wet or dry therefore making it a fast, clean  method of creating a perfectly formed hole ranging in size from 6mm up to 1000mm in diameter. This method is of particular benefit to our clients during shutdowns where pipe work needs to be installed, made good and commissioned within specific time frames. The holes are drilled to your requirements, plus another financial benefit is that the labour required to carry out any making good is vastly reduced, as the structural integrity of the building/structure remains virtually untouched. Core drilling is carried out using either Electric Motors or Hydraulic equipment. Both types of equipment are fully self-sufficient, should a power supply not be available on site, Access can easily provide generators, and petrol or electric hydraulic power packs to keep the job as simple as possible for our clients.

Stitch drilling:-
Acess's Stitch Drilling service is used to form slots or openings through walls and floors where other methods of cutting are not practical or accessible. This method is predominantly used in restricted areas.

Stitching is also used extensively in areas with close proximity to "clean or controlled" environments as this method brings the benfit of significantly reduced cutting waste & the cutting byproducts are far easier to control & contain.

On a Health and Safety point of view core drilling nowadays is virtually vibration free as technology has moved on at a pace over the last few years. Access operates the very latest in new machinery & technology - some of our drilling equipment is also now semi-automated thus reducing contact time, fatigue and virtually eliminating HAV, Auto Feed drilling Rig
